Incorporated in 2010, our Curling Club is one of the newest curling club facilities in the country. For over 50 years, curlers of King Township had been meeting once a week in Nobleton and Schomberg Arenas to curl on hockey ice. With support from both governmental and the private sectors of the Township, the King Curling Club opened its doors as part of the new King Township Facility – The Trisan Centre, 25 Dillane Drive, located in the industrial area of Schomberg, just south of Hwy 9 and east of Hwy 27. The new facility consists of a skating pad, a fitness centre, a four-sheet curling rink and an emergency response station.
Now starting our seven year of operation, the King Curling Club offers social leagues with a relaxed atmosphere for those that enjoy an easy going friendly game where they can learn in a no pressure environment. In addition there are competitive leagues for men’s, women and mixed teams. Youth Leagues provide instruction, social curling and an opportunity for competitive teams. At the King Curling club you’re sure to find a league that fits your needs. The Club is operated entirely by Volunteers.
Guests and spectators are always welcome to visit our club and watch live curling games from our comfortable upstairs club lounge and bar area. League games are played Sunday through Friday from 7pm to 11pm from early October to the end of March. Contact information for the Club and the members of the Board of Directors can be accessed through the "Club" link in the menu at the top of this Page.
