Welcome to the King Curling Club
2011-2012 Season Final Standings
As our first year as the King Curling Club comes to a close we would like to thank the Board of Directors and all the volunteers who tireless efforts have made our first season a great success. We would also like to congratulate the 2011-2012 Club Champions. We look forward to seeing all our old friends and the new ones we made, in the fall.
The Toss of Coin
The toss of coin, the shake of hand
The start of play, the fun so grand
The guard, the draw, the hit and roll
The button is the final goal
The rock, the broom, the call for line
The roaring stone, it looks so fine
The sweeping makes the perfect shot
The extra effort is not forgot
The shake of hand at end of play
The drinks, the talk, the perfect day
The end of season, I'll miss it all
The memories, the friendship, enjoyed them all
The season finale has now just past
For avid curlers the break won’t last
It’s back again on the ice this fall
See you then one and all

The Curling Corner
The Curling Corner is a new web page designed to keep our members informed about league activities on and off the ice. Over the last few years our two local newspapers, the King Sentinel and the King Weekly, have been very generous with their publishing of our articles, however, not every article that is written will get published in the weekly papers so, with that in mind, we have created this page to cover activities that don't make it to print.
The articles and information for this page is intended to supplement the newspaper articles and also provide some additional insight on the happenings within the club. Articles will remain on this page for a couple of weeks and then be placed in the archives on the members page.
The link on the side bar will take you our new page or just click here The Curling Corner.
King Curling Club is featured in the Canadian Curling Association Website
The long anticipated story about our new curling club is currently being featured on the Canadian Curling Assoc. Website. Jean Mills is the author, and for the past month or so, she has worked with members of our Club to write a story about our new club. Receiving recognition of this degree should make all KCC members feel proud.
